It is ideal for manoeuvring patients across beds, trolleys, and other flat surfaces with minimal effort and maximum control. By significantly reducing resistance during movement, it also helps to ease the physical strain on caregivers. Each slide sheet is intended for single-patient use only, accompanying the patient throughout their hospital stay. This disposable design supports infection control by eliminating the need for laundering. While the sheet is not made for machine washing, it can be wiped clean with a diluted chlorine-based solution or quality sterilising fluid if lightly soiled. It’s important to note that this product is not a lifting aid. All movements should be performed using appropriate manual handling techniques, without lifting the patient.
