Bed Rail with Straps

The Bed Rail with Straps provides a supportive handhold for people who find getting into or out of bed more difficult. It can also provide useful leverage when repositioning or moving from lying down to a seated position. This makes it a practical bed mobility aid for older people, disabled users and anyone experiencing reduced strength or mobility following an injury or operation. The wide base fits beneath the mattress and is suitable for rigid and sprung divan beds as well as fixed slatted bed bases. Anti-slip collars and two securing straps help keep the bed rail firmly positioned during use, providing additional stability without the need for permanent fixings. The ergonomically shaped multi-grip handle provides several comfortable hand positions, allowing the user to choose the grip that works best for their movement.Made from chrome and plastic-coated steel, the bed support rail is strong, durable and easy to maintain. It is supplied in two sections that clip together without tools, making assembly straightforward and allowing the rail to be dismantled when required. The base measures 700 x 600 mm (27.5 x 23.5"), the handle is 500 mm (19.75") high from the base, and the rail supports a maximum user weight of 190 kg (30 st). Suitable for domestic and professional care environments. Please note: The supplied securing straps are designed for use with single beds.
