These fantastic Stainless Steel lights each contain a powerful 1. 8W LED lamp, providing plenty of light to illuminate any cabinet or work surface. They are an affordable, but reliable, option when lighting your kitchen worktops or bathroom cabinets & cupboards etc. Due to them being IP44 rated, they are suitable for use in steamy, damp areas like zone 2 of your bathroom and near where you keep your kettle in the kitchen. Their typical life is 20, 000 hours, therefore you could not only save a tremendous amount of money on your electricity bills but you're also not constantly having to buy replacement bulbs. Replacing those old halogen lamps has never been more affordable. If you choose this pack then you will receive 5 x round, recessed under cabinet lights & 1 x 15w LED driver. The lights are 12v & the driver is 220v mains wireable so that it can be wired directly into a plug socket or light switch, alternatively, you could wire a plug onto the end of the driver cable and plug it into a spare plug socket. These lights are available in two LED colour options - Warm White, which is a soft light with a slight yellow tint, similar to the old halogen and incandescent bulbs, or, Cool White which is a crisp, brighter white. Each of the lights has a 2-metre cable that has to route back to the LED driver, if this isn't enough cable for you then we also sell extensions that simply plug into the end of the existing cable - you can find them by clicking here . Please note that if you choose the cool white LED colour option ONLY (this doesn't apply to the warm white), you might find that the bulbs cast a slightly yellow halo effect where the light shines onto the wall. Some customers love this effect, but some customers don't. It's really a case of personal taste, if you would prefer not to have this halo effect then you could either choose the warm white LED option or you could take a look at this similar product that doesn't have the same effect.
