This amazing new tulip is more like a peony than a tulip. Its huge, fully double flowers are charmingly fringed.. Last year, a bed of 'Lemon Shoot' tulips was on display at the Keukenhof Gardens in the Netherlands, and it was one of the most photographed tulips of the season. When these tulips first bloom, they display a lovely creamy yellow colour. They also have the added bonus of a deliciously sweet fragrance. In the Netherlands, the first flowers are used in bouquets, and florists win prize after prize with this beautiful tulip.
