With twice the bandwidth of 10 Gb adapters, this new FlexibleLOM Adapter improves Ethernet, FCoE, and iSCSI speed, increasing workload performance and scalability. Improved Performance and Scalability With 20Gb bandwidth, this adapter provides a 2X improvement over 10Gb adapters, removing server I/O bottlenecks and accelerating virtualized workloads. In fact, one 20Gb adapter can provide a 35% CPU improvement over two 10Gb adapters. The Flex-20/FlexFabric technology allows for dynamic fine-tuning of up to four partitioned connections to meet the specific needs of different applications. Simplified I/O Hardware and Reduced Costs The Flex-20/FlexFabric technology also simplifies I/O hardware and reduces costs by consolidating server I/O connections. Provisioning multiple adapters can be done in seconds using Virtual Connect profiles, and updates can be managed from a centralized Virtual Connect Manager or Virtual Connect Enterprise Manager. Reliable adapter firmware updates on multiple blade servers can also be orchestrated with HP Smart Update Manager (SUM).
