The HPE ProLiant DL325 Gen10 Server is the secure and versatile single socket server for virtualization and I/O intensive workloads. Powered by the latest AMD EPYC 7xx2 Series Processors , the HPE ProLiant DL325 Gen10 Server offers greater processing power and faster memory speeds upto 2933 MT/s This 1P, 1U server delivers an exceptional balance of processor, memory and I/O for 2P performance at 1P TCO. Get the most out of your virtualized environment with this versatile server.
In this refurbished system you can only have a single 2nd Gen AMD EPYC processor which can offer a core count of 8, 16, 24, or 32 cores, depending on the processor chosen. The processor can supports up to eight memory channels instead of just six memory channels on the Intel Xeon Scalable processors. In total there are 16 memory slots on this system board which can have 2 memory modules per channel. If using 128GB load-reduced (LRDIMM) DDR4 memory in all of the 16 slots, this server can support a maximum of 2TB of memory. If you decide to choose registered memory modules (RDIMM) you will only be able to support half the memory which will make it a total of 1TB. One thing to note, if you plan on installing two memory modules in each memory channel memory speed is reduced to 2133MT/s instead of the 2400MT/s or 2666MT/s. Memory speed is determined by both the speed of the processor, memory, and memory configuration.
This refurbished DL325 can support the following:
Maximum of 1 AMD EPYC processors
Maximum of 2TB RAM (LRDIMM)
1 x FlexLOM
1 x Smart Array Controller
Battery Option
I/O Option
Up to 2 PCI Express slots
2 x Hot Plug Power Supply Bays
Up to 4 x LFF (Large Form Factor) Hot Swap Hard Drive Bays
Rack Rail & Cable Management Arm Option
ILO License
Even though this refurbished HPE ProLiant DL325 Gen10 rack server can only support a single AMD EPYC processor can deliver similar performance compared to a dual processor Intel Xeon configuration. A great thing about only have the one processor you will be able to save on power and space in a datacentre environment.
