The HP Proliant DL380 Gen8 rack server is one of our best sellers and supports the Intel Xeon E5-26xx V1 Processor range, giving you access to Quad-Core all the way up to 12-Core processors, theoretically delivering 24 physical cores via a dual processor configuration.

Rack Mount Chassis
This server comes in a 2U rack mount chassis and will fit in any adjustable 19" server rack cabinet. The server also supports a cable management arm that attaches to the rear of the rack rail kit and the rear of the server.
CPU and Memory
The HP Proliant DL380 Gen8 can support a maximum of 2 Quad (4) Core, all the way up to 12 (12) Core CPU's, 768GB PC3-14900 ECC DDR3 Memory, 6x PCI Express slots housing and array of Fibre, NIC and Storage Controller cards.
Flexible Network Technology
HP ProLiant Gen8 servers offer a new flexible network technology - FlexibleLOMs. The HP ProLiant DL380p Gen8 server offers the customer the choice of 1Gb, 10Gb, or 10Gb base-T networking solutions.
1x FlexLOM port housing either Quad Port 1GbE FlexLOM Networking Adaptor or a range of Dual Port 10GbE FlexLOM Networking Adaptors.
Power Supply
This server has two Hot Plug Power Supply slots housing two 460W, 750W or 1200W Hot Plug PSU's.
Storage Array
This servers comes preconfigured with a HP P420i/512 Flash Backed Cache Storage Array Controller which includes an 8 Bay SFF (Small Form Factor) or 25 Bay SFF (Small Form Factor) or 12 Bay LFF (Large Form Factor) hard drive backplane and bay, supporting up to 8x or 25x SSD/SAS/SATA 2.5" Hard Drives or 12x SSD/SAS/SATA Hard Drives depending on which chassis you choose.
