This refurbished HPE ProLiant DL385 Gen10 Server is redefining price/performance with the new math for virtualized compute. Powered by the latest AMD EPYC 7xxx Series Processors, the HPE ProLiant DL385 Gen10 Server offers greater processing power and faster memory speeds up to 2933 MT/s than previous generations. This 2P, 2U server has been designed with flexibility in mind but also making sure to deliver a high maximum core count with a large memory.
This system can support one or two of the AMD EPYC 7001 series processors with 8 to 32 cores each. L3 cache has also been enhanced with 32MB to 64MB depending on your choice of processors. When using these EPYC processors you can have more PCIe lanes and more memory channels. Each processor supports 8 memory channels which is 2 more if compared with Intel Scalable processors. A refurbished DL385 has 32 memory slots in total with each processor controlling 16 slots each. There are few different memory speeds which can be achieved ranging from: 2133MHz, 2400MHz, and 2666MHz but to reach these speeds the memory must be paired with an appropriate processor that supports that speed.
