Advanced Features for Optimal Performance The Intel Integrated RAID Modules RS25CB080, RS25CB040, and RMT3CB080 are equipped with two 800MHz processor cores and up to 1GB DDR3 1033MHz cache memory, providing powerful processing capabilities for optimal performance. These modules also offer the option for traditional battery-based cache backup or a Maintenance Free Backup Unit (MFBU). The MFBU uses a super capacitor to copy data in flight from dynamic memory to NAND flash-based memory in the event of a power loss or server crash. This eliminates the need for LiON batteries, making it more environmentally friendly and offering a lower total cost of ownership over the life of the RAID module.
