The Savotta Jääkäri Small Backpack is a highly versatile daypack, well suited for outdoors, travel and everyday use. The slim and compact design combined with low profile shoulder straps offer unhindered movement in cramped spaces and difficult terrain. The PALS attachment webbing offers a lot of options for mounting of additional pouches and gear to the outside of the pack, extending it's capabilities beyond just a daypack. The main compartment is closed using an extremely simple lid system: the mouth of the bag folds down over itself when the lid is closed, creating a secure seal. This is a very simple, very bombproof design. A zippered pocket inside the lid offers safe storage for your wallet, keys, travel documents and phone. The closure system and side compression straps offer some adjustability to the volume of the pack. Strap it down tight or loosen it up depending on the carried load. The Jääkäri S capacity can be adjusted from 20 to 30 litres, depending on how you fold the top lid. A hydration compartment is attached to the interior back wall. Tube ports on both sides allow you to route the hydration tube from the left or right, while leaving the other port free for other uses such as antennas or cables. The low profile shoulder straps are made from 40 mm wide webbing, with ladderlock buckles in the bottom corners of the bag for adjustment. The 25 mm webbing on top of the shoulder straps allow you to attach sternum straps, hydration tubes etc. PALS webbing on the sides and lid allow you to attach additional pouches and gear. This system offers numerous options for configuring the pack to suit your specific needs. Not only for pouches though, the PALS webbing can also be used to attach utility straps, shock cord, carabiners etc. Four webbing loops at the bottom can be used to attach utility straps.
