It has a 3M double-sided adhesive backing, so all you need to do is peel the cover off and stick it to the surface that you want. These warm white LED strip lights are cuttable every 50mm, and we offer a free bespoke cutting service if you need customised lengths. As a cherry on top, we’ll also solder a 2-metre cable at the end of the strips so when they’re delivered to you, they're ready for installation! With this, you’ll only need to pay for the lights you need, and you don’t have to waste your energy cutting and soldering. Just make sure that it’s rounded down to the nearest 50mm when you place your orders. Since these warm white LED strip lights are low voltage, they need an LED driver to work. So, how do you know which driver to get? Well, you’ll need to put your multiplication skills to the test! You need to multiply the watts per metre of the strip by the number of metres you need. Once you get the result, round it up to the nearest LED driver capacity, and that’s it! Make sure that the power of your driver is higher than the total watts of your lights so it won’t overload. (eg. If you were ordering 5 metres x 5w = 25w. So you would choose a 30w driver) Aside from that, if you want to dim your lights using a traditional style wall dimmer (must be LED compatible), you’ll need a dimmable LED driver. But if you don’t want it to be dimmed or if you’re combining your strips with a remote controller or a smart controller, then a standard driver will suffice.
